Parkhaven HOA is a field data app for HOA board members and maintenance staff. This page covers how to get help and answers to common questions.
For account access, sign-in issues, or any other question about the app, contact the Parkhaven HOA technical support channel via text at 415-710-9567.
I can't sign in.
Access is limited to authorized HOA board members and staff. If you don't have an account or forgot your credentials, contact the administrator to have your access set up or reset.
Why does the app ask for my location?
Location is used only when you choose to place a new field object on the map, so the pin lands where you're actually standing. You can also enter coordinates manually instead. The app never tracks your location in the background.
Why does the app ask for Face ID?
Face ID is used only to unlock your already-saved sign-in session on your device, for a faster and more secure return to the app. Apple's operating system handles Face ID directly — the app never receives or stores biometric data.
How does tree identification work?
When you select photos and request identification for a tree asset, those specific photos are sent to the Parkhaven HOA server, which forwards them to Pl@ntNet's identification service and returns possible species matches. No photo is sent unless you choose to identify it, and the app never overwrites a species field automatically.
Why don't I see an object someone else added?
The app syncs automatically when you have a connection. If an object still doesn't appear, check that the layer it belongs to is turned on in the Layers panel, and pull to sync from the toolbar.
Can I use the app without an internet connection?
You can browse and edit assets you've already synced while offline; changes queue and upload automatically once you're back online. Signing in for the first time requires a connection.
See our Privacy Policy for details on what information the app collects and how it's used.
